If you've decided it's time to stop paying for PlayStation Plus, Sony makes the cancellation process straightforward. Whether you're looking to cut monthly expenses, no longer find value in the subscription, or simply want to take a break, you can end your membership in just a few minutes.
Subscribers can cancel PlayStation Plus using a web browser, directly from a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 console, or through the PlayStation mobile app. Regardless of which option you choose, the process requires only a handful of steps.
After your subscription is canceled, automatic renewals will stop, but you'll continue enjoying PlayStation Plus benefits until your current billing cycle expires.

You can also manage your subscription from the PlayStation app.

What Happens After You Cancel PlayStation Plus?
Once you cancel PlayStation Plus, recurring payments stop immediately, but your membership remains active until the current billing period ends.
After the subscription expires, you'll lose access to:
The PlayStation Plus game catalog.
Monthly games claimed through the service.
Online multiplayer.
Cloud storage for saved games.
However, any packs, avatars, and discounted purchases obtained while subscribed remain attached to your account.
If you decide to return to the service, you can reactivate your subscription through your subscription settings. Reactivating before your next scheduled renewal keeps your current membership active. If the renewal date has already passed, you'll need to purchase a new PlayStation Plus subscription through the PlayStation Store.
